Weekly performance report (client, owner, funder or team)

Weekly performance report (client, owner, funder or team). Compares this period to last period and to goal, picks the three movements that matter, and writes a one-page report: a numbers table, what changed, why (only from notes it was given), and what happens next. Anything it cannot explain is listed as a question, never guessed. This build has not been filmed yet; the page fills in once it is.

How it works

The loop

  1. 1. Trigger

Monday 8am on a schedule (month end for clients, funders and committees).

  2. 2. Inputs

One export per data source (GA4, Shopify, ad accounts, CRM pipeline, campaign sheet), the goals, and last period's report.

  3. 3. Agent does

Compares this period to last period and to goal, picks the three movements that matter, and writes a one-page report: a numbers table, what changed, why (only from notes it was given), and what happens next. Anything it cannot explain is listed as a question, never guessed.

  4. 4. A person checks

The owner or account manager edits the 'why' and the next steps, then approves.

  5. 5. Lands in

Google Doc or email draft to the client, owner, funder or committee, plus a row in a report log sheet.

Tools a non-coder uses: Claude Project with the report template and the last two reports. Make or Zapier on a schedule, reading Google Sheets (exports dropped in Drive) or the native GA4, Shopify or HubSpot apps. In ChatGPT the same project works with a CSV upload.

What changes per role: The metrics and the reader. Agency: spend, leads, cost per lead, ROAS, for the client. Shopify: sales, orders, conversion, AOV, for the owner. Grants: outcomes and spend against budget, for the funder. CSM: usage, tickets, renewal risk, for the QBR. Recruiter and HR: time to fill, turnover. Golf: new members, resignations, dues, for the membership committee. Gym and venue sales: leads, tours, closes against target.
